T.B.A.W.A. provides access to Public Liability and Professional Indemnity, Personal Accident, Association Liability, and Property insurance cover for affiliated clubs.

Public Liability and Professional Indemnity, and Personal Accident Insurance

The Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Personal Accident insurance is provided in conjunction with Baseball Australia through V-Insurance Group.

All applications must be lodged through T.B.A.W.A. and are part of the affiliation form. The cost is $2 per insured person (same price for players and adults). Clubs must insure all their players plus a minimum of 5 adults per team plus 8 adults per clubs.

Property Insurance

The Property insurance for the is also provided in conjunction with Baseball Australia through V-Insurance Group and is part of the affiliation. The cost is $150 per club. Because clubs which are a member of Baseball WA already have the cover through their baseball affiliation do not have to pay the Property Insurance fee.

A base cover of $10,000 is provided as a baseline and included in the affiliation fee. Higher cover can be arranged on a per club basis. Please contact V-Insurance for details.

When referring to the insurance information provided by V-Insurance Group please be aware that only Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Personal Accident and Association Liability insurance are currently being provided. The mentioned website also refers to Group Travel insurance which is not part of the current arrangement.
