The State Championships were first played in the 1974-75 season as an under 10 boys competition between tee-ball players from the following baseball clubs:
Morley Eagles Baseball Club, Perth Baseball Club and Wembley Baseball Club
The 2023 State Championships are now being played over the March long weekend at Yokine Reserve in the City of Stirling. More than 80 representative teams of both boys and girls, representing about 30 clubs from metropolitan and country regions, in 5 age groups and many divisions, typically play 5 one hour games.
The formats vary slightly depending on the number of teams in the division. Please note that these formats are the same as used in previous years. So nothing really has changed and it is listed here just for clarity:
