- Yale Tigers Tee Ball Club
YALE Tigers Teeball Club was the first Teeball club in the Thornlie area and the original member for the Thornlie and Districts Teeball Association.Over 40 years old, Yale Tigers field players from the Western side of Thornlie with our training location at Langford Oval. On a Wednesday afternoon we have all our teams train together to have a big Teeball community in one location. Our games are on a Saturday morning being played in the Thornlie and Districts Association competition that is held at Sutherlands Reserve in Huntingdale commencing in October and finishing in February with a break over Christmas. Our club fields players from Kindy through to year 7 and is a mixed team sport with boys and girls making up the teams. Yale is proud of its diverse community roots and fields indigenous players as well as a mixture of players from different cultures.Yale Tigers focuses on the Fun and Family Involvement aspects of Teeball, ensuring all players, coaches and supporters are having a good time and are often the noisy ones on the field cheering each other on. Yale has multiple family siblings playing in the club across different teams and encourage all the family to be involved in the sport. We hold bbqs, a massive water fight Christmas party and attend end of season windups each year ensuring the fun is not just on the diamond. If you are looking for a team based sport to enrol your child in, that is inclusive, fun and will teach great skills, look no further than Yale Tigers Teeball Club.
